My Approach

As a therapist, I feel deeply honored to walk alongside people in their healing process. I approach this work from a strengths-based perspective—believing that each person holds inner wisdom that can be uncovered, nurtured, and trusted. My role is to support you in reconnecting with that wisdom while offering tools for navigating challenges, building emotional resilience, and strengthening communication.

My own mindfulness practice helps me stay grounded and fully present in our work together. I aim to create a calm, supportive space where you feel safe to explore what’s difficult, and where we can gently move toward clarity, relief, and growth.

As someone who values allyship with disenfranchised and historically marginalized groups, I recognize that my own identities and lived experiences shape the therapeutic space we co-create. I strive to enter our work with cultural humility, curiosity, and care—and I hold myself accountable to ongoing reflection, learning, and repair when needed. My goal is to offer a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported in your full humanity.

I draw from a wide range of therapeutic approaches to meet your needs, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Bowen Family Systems Theory, Structural Family Therapy, Parts Work, and mindfulness-based strategies.

My areas of focus include trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family of origin dynamics, and working with complex or overwhelming emotions. I welcome the opportunity to support you with compassion and care.

I offer individual, family, and group psychotherapy for adults aged 18 and over. I welcome people of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, religions, and cultural backgrounds.
